Rae was first linked to the Kardashian family this spring when she posted a TikTok with Kardashian’s 10-year-old son, Mason Disick, and shared workout tips on Kourtney’s Poosh YouTube channel. Since then, the pair have collaborated on multiple TikToks, including a spoof of an old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” episode.

Rae, who rapidly rose to fame after posting her first TikTok in July 2019, now has 51.3 million followers on the Gen Z-beloved platform and is enjoying lasting fame from her short dance videos.

She traded college for TikTok stardom

In a YouTube video with makeup artist James Charles, Rae revealed that she dropped out of college at Louisiana State University to become a member of the Hype House, a group of young content creators who live together in a Los Angeles mansion. According to the New York Times, Hype House was founded by TikTok star Chase Hudson and YouTube star Thomas Petrou. Current members include Ryland Storms, Tayler Holder, Alex Warren, Kouvr and Connor Yates.

She even hangs out with Scott Disick

Rae has even posted a TikTok with Kourtney’s ex, Scott Disick. In the video, the pair perform an uncoordinated dance as Scott and Kourtney’s 8-year-old daughter Penelope strolls in front of the camera.

While Rae’s choreographed videos mesmerize fans, her on-again, off-again relationship with fellow TikTok star Bryce Hall has also kept people talking. In February, Rae told Entertainment Tonight that while she and Hall “were talking and kind of on-and-off,” they are “better off as friends.”  Even so, her recent videos with Hall sparked fans’ hopes that their relationship is back on.

Commenters have also speculated about her relationship with 23-year-old YouTuber David Dobrik after they posted a series of socially-distanced videos together in April.

Like the Kardashians, Rae’s family is run by a strong matriarch. In addition to raising Addison and her two brothers, mom Sheri Easterling is a TikTok star in her own right with 8.3 million followers. In January, the Hollywood Reporter announced that the whole family had signed with talent agency WME.

On Monday, the mother-daughter duo launched “Mama Knows Best,” a Spotify-exclusive podcast described as an “authentic slice of Addison’s life.”
