Wanda Sykes skewered Scott Baio after the “Charles in Charge” star came after her for defending Joe Biden in light of his controversial “you ain’t black” remarks.

Baio, a vocal President Trump supporter, blasted the comedian on Twitter last Friday.

“Hey @iamwandasykes why is it okay for @JoeBiden to say something clearly racist but @therealroseanne gets kicked off of her own show that YOU are a writer on, for making a mistake?” Baio tweeted. “Is it because you’re a full of s–t, hack liberal?”

He was responding to a tweet Sykes sent the same day defending Biden, who said that anyone who would vote for President Trump “ain’t black.”

“Biden feels at home speaking to the Black community. He made a joke. Comedy ain’t easy, but he didn’t say 2 go shoot Clorox in our tits,” Sykes wrote.

“Now, I wouldn’t make a blanket statement to say that voting for Trump means you’re not Black. I would say that it means you’re not smart.”

Sykes, who worked as a consulting producer on the reboot of “Roseanne,” issued her pithy response to Baio on Wednesday.

“Oh! Hey Chachi. Apologies, I didn’t see you. I’ll keep it short. Joe Biden didn’t say, ‘Then you ain’t an ape,’” she wrote. “Well, let me get back to work…I hope you enjoy whatever it is that you do.”

Scott Baio

Getty Images

Joe Biden

AFP via Getty Images

Baio was referring to Roseanne Barr, who was booted off her own show after going on a racist tear on Twitter in 2018, in which she compared former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to an ape.

Sykes quit the show the same day Barr’s tweets went viral.

Biden later apologized for his remarks, saying he “should not have been so cavalier.”
