        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So many stressed-out quarantined people logged on for a live-streamed healing meditation with <strong>Deepak Chopra</strong>, the host website crashed.</p><p>While a million people were anticipated to join the session, after more than 200,000 people initially clicked onto the global event hosted by Chopra and New York-based health and wellness center The Well at noon on Sunday, the Vimeo-hosted site crashed.</p><p>Chopra, 73, who led the meditation by live link from California, quickly moved over to Facebook Live to continue the session, intended to set “collective energy toward healing the world at a time when we need it most.” However the technical setback left him with fewer followers.</p><p>The spiritual guru opened the session by saying, “We were soon going to start a global live meditation for healing and transformation amidst this global pandemic of the coronavirus…but the Vimeo site crashed.</p><p>“We were hoping for a million people, and indeed we think we had them…so I am taking this opportunity to speak to you all on Facebook Live.”</p><p>He went on to say, “In the great wisdom traditions of the east, and also the west, it is said that every crisis has a creative solution and every adversity contains the seed of a creative opportunity, so let’s go with that.”</p><p>Video of the live meditation has since posted to the-well.com/stayhome and Chopra’s YouTube.</p><p>Vimeo CEO Anjali Sud did not respond to a request for comment from USA GAG.</p>]]></content:encoded>
