Go see the full IGTV on my Instagram,” Twitter user Eliz Orban posted on Friday, along with a video that was viewed over 2 million times by Saturday afternoon.

In the video, Orban says her family was kicked off of a United flight because her 2-year-old daughter wouldn’t wear a face mask. Additionally, she says her luggage was sent to New York and that she is banned from flying on United in the future.

A flight attendant can be seen in the video asking the family to “exit the plane” and accusing them of non-compliance with the face mask policy as a man explains that he’s trying to hold the mask on the face of his child.

The video was shared by many prominent conservatives on Twitter, including Sen. Ted Cruz, who wrote, “In what universe does this make any sense?? A two-year-old child? WATCH this video. This isn’t keeping anyone safe. It’s just arbitrary & nonsensical. And infuriating.”

"The health and safety of our employees and customers is our highest priority, which is why we have a multi-layered set of policies, including mandating that everyone onboard two and older wears a mask," United Airlines told the Washington Examiner in an emailed statement. "These procedures are not only backed by guidance from the CDC and our partners at the Cleveland Clinic, but they’re also consistent across every major airline."

"We are investigating this specific incident and have made contact with the family," The statement added. "We also refunded their tickets, returned their car seat and are in the process of returning their bags."
