After chopping off all her hair last week — and making plenty of headlines in the process — the “Girls Trip” actress, 40, shared a confident Instagram selfie of her clean-shaven head.

“Just Loving my new look thought I’d share it with y’all,” Haddish captioned her shot. “The best part is when water hits my head it feels like kisses from God. #sheready for more of Gods Love!”

Her friends and fans shared plenty of praise in the comments. “You look absolutely gorgeous !! I love it,” wrote Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson, while Yvette Nicole Brown added, “Let ’em know!”

And Kate Hudson, who shaved her own head in 2017, commented, “Best feeling ever #Freedom.”

While Haddish’s dramatic haircut initially sparked concern on social media, it turns out her bald look is for a role.

“I actually have this movie that I am working on and my character has to wear wigs. So it would be easier if I don’t have any hair on my head. The wig will fit better,” the comedian was heard saying at Dave Chapelle’s Ohio show during Fourth of July weekend.

On social media, Haddish also said that she was happy to take a break from the extensive maintenance her hair requires.

“Let’s just be honest, as a black woman — I don’t know about white women — but as a black woman, that’s a good hour to three hours of your f—king day,” she explained. “Even if your hair is braided, you gotta grease your scalp, you gotta tie ’em up at night, you gotta make sure they look neat, it’s a lot of work. So, I’m taking time off!”
