The 40-year-old actor and his wife, Rachel Sullivan, welcomed a son named Bear Maxwell Sullivan on Tuesday night, People reported. Sullivan — whose character, Toby, is father to baby Jack — shared a photo of son Bear’s feet on Instagram to make the announcement public.

“8lbs of beautiful baby boy. Witnessing @therealrachelsullivan bring our first son into this world, after 20 hours of labor, was one of the great honors of my life,” he captioned the image.

Sullivan told his followers that the birth was “primal and intentional” and when talking about his wife he said the he’s “never been more in love with this powerful woman.”

He shared that everyone is in good health, and both mother and baby are resting.

He also told People that after announcing the pregnancy back in January, the couple sent their family puzzles to reveal the baby’s name and to keep them all connected during quarantine.

“Everyone is very excited to meet Bear, and hopefully in the next few months, we’ll be able to introduce him to all of his friends and family,” he added.
