        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A Manhattan federal judge ruled Monday that he won&#8217;t let <strong>Tekashi 6ix9ine&#8217;s</strong> kidnapper out of prison amid the coronavirus outbreak.</p><p>Attorneys for Anthony &#8220;Harv&#8221; Ellison had asked Judge Paul Engelmayer to release their client from the Metropolitan Correctional Center on $200,000 bail into home confinement due to his asthma.</p><p>&#8220;The court, based on the trial record and Ellison&#8217;s criminal history, regards him as &#8216;far too great a danger to the community to justify his release,&#8217;&#8221; wrote Engelmayer, siding with federal prosecutors <strong>who had opposed Ellison&#8217;s bail application.</strong></p><p>Ellison, 32, a high-ranking member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, was <strong>convicted last year</strong> of the gunpoint kidnapping and robbery of Tekashi and the ear-to-chin slashing of a rival a few months later.&nbsp; He&#8217;s scheduled to be sentenced June 19 and faces up to life in prison.</p>]]></content:encoded>
