The rapper sent his well wishes to Tom Hanks after the actor’s outspoken son, Chet Hanks, called out Tekashi for defending being a “snitch.”

“Wishing his dad a speedy recovery,” Tekashi, 24, commented on Instagram after hip-hop media personality DJ Akademiks posted screenshots of Chet’s rant about the rapper.

Tom, 63, tested positive for coronavirus in March alongside his wife, Rita Wilson. They have since both recovered from the illness.

Chet’s criticism came after the “GOOBA” rapper shared a record-breaking rant on Instagram over the weekend, during which he defended “snitching” on members of his Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods crew in exchange for less jail time.

“Don’t be fooled by social media. That dude is SCARED S—TLESS but has no choice but to laugh and make light of it cuz he knows he’s a marked man for the rest of his life either way,” Chet, 29, said on his Instagram Stories on Monday.

In December, Tekashi pleaded guilty to racketeering and other charges, facing decades in prison before agreeing to cooperate with the government for less time behind bars. In April of this year, the performer was released from prison to complete his sentence in home confinement due to the coronavirus outbreak.

“There’s something called ‘no loyalty’ and snitching and all that I get it,” Tekashi said, before making allegations about the gang’s betrayal of him.

Chet, who is a rapper himself, also blasted Tekashi for portraying a phony persona. Meanwhile, Chet has also been criticized for putting on a fake accent at the 2020 Golden Globes.

“He literally told you on the stand that ‘the gangster image was just a persona to boost my career’ only to get out talking about upping 100 shots at the chicken spot? And y’all still going for it,” Chet added. “People see a bunch of jewelry and diamond teeth and numbers on Instagram and actually believe dude is really happy as f—k living the life … All I see is FEAR.”
