Taylor Swift surprised her fans Thursday morning by announcing her new album “Folklore,” which will drop Friday at midnight.

The 30-year-old pop phenom’s eighth studio LP, “Folklore” includes 16 songs Swift said she’s “poured all of [her] whims, dreams, fears, and musings into” — along with a bonus track on deluxe editions — and was recorded entirely “in isolation.”

As usual, Swift has released merchandise tied to the new album, including a tee that offers a first look at her “Folklore” lyrics.

“But I knew you / Playing hide-and-seek and / Giving me your weekends / I knew you / Your heartbeat on the High Line / Once in twenty lifetimes / And when I felt like I was an old cardigan / Under someone’s bed / You put me on and said / I was your favorite,” reads the back of the “I Knew You” T-shirt ($30), the front of which features a black-and-white photo of the musician.

Also up for grabs are a trio of sweatshirts printed with similar woodsy album art, with style names including “In the Trees” ($60) and “So Much for Summer Love,” ($60) — presumably also teasing snippets of Swift’s new lyrics.

There’s even a cream knit cardigan embroidered with silver stars ($49) — a nod to the first single from “Folklore,” the music video for which will drop Thursday evening. Its title? “Cardigan,” of course.

Swift is no stranger to using clothing to offer musical clues. In May 2019 — prior to announcing her last album, “Lover” — she posed for the cover of Entertainment Weekly in a denim jacket covered in buttons that hinted at various aspects of the project, including a Dixie Chicks collaboration and the Pride-themed track “You Need to Calm Down.”

“Easter eggs can be left on clothing or jewelry,” Swift explained in a video accompanying her cover. “This is one of my favorite ways to do this, because you wear something that foreshadows something else, and people don’t really usually find out this one immediately. But they know you’re probably sending a message — they’ll figure it out in time.”

Fortunately, this time her Swifties won’t have long to wait.
