						<p>This viral challenge is J. droll.</p>
<p>The hip-hop Twitterati have devised an amusing —&nbsp; albeit ridiculous — way to kill time while the nation anxiously awaits <strong>2020 election results</strong> — riffing on the name of 35-year-old rapper J. Cole (whose full name is Jermaine Lamarr Cole).</p>
<p>The punny pursuit is currently blowing up on social media.</p>
<p>&#8220;J Cole is freezing:&nbsp; J Cold,&#8221; wrote one <a href="https://twitter.com/kennbeatss/status/1323791458747363329" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Twitter hip-hop fan</a> to the tune of 2,900 likes.</p>
<p>&#8220;J Cole took my wallet: J Stole,&#8221; <a href="https://twitter.com/JofraArcher/status/1324337001760542720" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">quipped another</a> about Cole, who was accused in June of <strong>dissing fellow rapper Noname</strong> in his hit single &#8220;Snow On Tha Bluff.&#8221;</p>
<p>Some more risqué remixes included <a href="https://twitter.com/JaleenRoberts/status/1324235826197270529" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">&#8220;j cole smokes some weed: j bowl&#8221;</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/HHTSteve/status/1323757831112318976" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">&#8220;J Cole does drugs: J Coke.&#8221;</a></p>

<p>Not to be outdone, <a href="https://twitter.com/VanLathan/status/1324219033198100482" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">one Twitter wit followed up with</a>: &#8220;J Cole eating pineapples: J Dole.&#8221;</p>

<p>Many participants even alluded to the still-to-be-decided <strong>2020 presidential election</strong>.</p>
<p>&#8220;J Cole predicting who’s next president: J Poles,&#8221; <a href="https://twitter.com/NBA_Observer/status/1324224058930716672" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">read one topical — but misspelled — Tweet.</a></p>

<p>Many snarked <a href="https://twitter.com/milktdal/status/1324237064267735040" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">&#8220;j cole counting Nevada’s vote: j slow&#8221;</a> in reference to the nationwide impatience over the <strong>pending Nevada voting</strong> results.</p>
<p>The challenge&#8217;s crown jewel <a href="https://twitter.com/JamilahLemieux/status/1324232981402189825" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">was undoubtedly:</a> &#8220;J Cole reading books: JK&#8221; — an apparent jab at the fact that the hip-hop star is <strong>admittedly not an avid reader.&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
<p>The rap star has yet to comment on his viral name game.</p>
<p>However &#8220;J. Cole&#8221; isn&#8217;t the first celebrity name to spawn a social-media challenge.</p>
<p>Podcast host Joe Rogan <a href="https://twitter.com/joerogan/status/802645229908230144?lang=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">received a moniker makeover in 2016</a> with riffs ranging from &#8220;toe rogan&#8221; to &#8220;doe rogan&#8221; along with pics of the comedian&#8217;s face superimposed over the aforementioned objects.</p>
