Why He’s an SI All-American: Suggs’ dominance as a senior was just a carryover from the previous five years, he’s dominated at the varsity level. In six seasons, Suggs won three state titles – which likely would have been four had the COVID-19 pandemic not cancelled the state tournament – scored 2,945 points, grabbed 883 rebounds, dished out 735 assists, swiped 509 steals and swatted 103 shots.

How athletic is Suggs? He doubles as an elite quarterback who threw for 2,213 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also rushed for 978 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.

Still, the hardwood seems to be where Suggs will pursue a career at the next level, and Suggs is one of a small handful of players that are contemplating taking their talents overseas to play pro ball instead of going to college for a year before entering the NBA Draft.
