Television’s biggest (and most fashionable!) night is almost here! The 2021 Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday, September 19, at 8 p.m. ET. And while it will still look a little different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still can’t wait to see what the stars wear for the virtual affair!

As TV enthusiasts likely recall, last year’s ceremony was virtual due to the global health crisis. Nonetheless, stars brought their fashion A-game to their backyards and living rooms. Stars like Padma Lakshmi and Tracee Ellis Ross made Us briefly forget about the absence of an actual red carpet.

A few of more of Stylish’s favorite looks through the years: In 2017, Nicole Kidman picked up the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in the HBO hit Big Little Lies wearing a gorgeous crimson tea-length Calvin Klein by Appointment frock with a crystal-embellished neckline that she paired with a strong red lip. Iconic.

A throwback favorite? In 2002, Jennifer Aniston stunned in a vintage blush-color Christian Dior gown to accept her statue for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for playing Rachel in Friends. The red carpet fashion moment easily goes down in Emmys history.

And there’s so much more where that came from. Ahead of the 73rd annual ceremony, we’re taking a look back at some of the best Emmys red carpet looks of all time — from the very early aughts up to today. Keep scrolling for a look at our favorite Emmys fashion moments of all time!
