        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One Seahawks rookie has suffered serious consequences for trying to sneak an unauthorized woman dressed as a player into a restricted area.</p><p>Seattle cut rookie cornerback Kemah Siverand this week &#8220;after he was caught on video trying to sneak a female visitor into the team hotel,&#8221; according to NFL Network&#8217;s Tom Pelissero.</p><p>Pelissero <a href="https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status/1293978360293490697" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">went on to report</a> that the ruse was actually rather elaborate: The woman was clad in Seahawks gear &#8220;in an attempt to disguise her as a player. &#8230; It did not work.&#8221;</p><p>While the NFL has not implemented any kind of NHL- or NBA-style &#8220;bubble&#8221; in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, teams and players are under orders to behave responsibly in order to lower the risk of an outbreak.</p><p>It remains unclear what the true motive for the infraction was, but the risky circumstances led many to speculate that the visit was one with amorous intentions.</p><figure id="attachment_16131836"  class="wp-caption alignnone aligncenter"><strong><noscript><img data- data-src="/uploads/2020/08/kemah-siverand-2020-seattle-seahawks.jpg" class="lazyload" src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==" /><noscript><img  data-src="/uploads/2020/08/kemah-siverand-2020-seattle-seahawks.jpg" /></noscript></noscript><img class="lazyload" src='data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=%22http://www.w3.org/2000/svg%22%20viewBox=%220%200%20210%20140%22%3E%3C/svg%3E' data- data-src="/uploads/2020/08/kemah-siverand-2020-seattle-seahawks.jpg" /></strong><figcaption class="wp-caption-text"><span>Kemah Siverand</span><span class="credit">Icon Sportswire via Getty Images</span></figcaption></figure><p>Siverand, 23, was an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State who signed with the team on May 4 and could have made an impact on special teams.</p><p>&#8220;Clear message on the responsibility everyone has in the NFL’s COVID-19 world: Put the team at risk, suffer the consequences,&#8221; Pelissero said.</p>]]></content:encoded>
