Although she’s heard the comparisons in the past, Emmy-winning Paulson was recently a “trending” topic on Twitter because of it — after Adele posted a now-viral picture of her newly svelte figure.

“This has been going on for a while … listen, I’ll take it!” Paulson, 45, told SiriusXM’s Jessica Shaw on Thursday.

She added, “What I wish they were comparing was my talent to her talent to say mine is as great as hers, which, quite honestly, they can’t say because no one’s as talented or great as her, which is really irritating, but I’ll take looking like her. Man, she’s a beauty. So, sure, give it to me. I’ll take it. I’ll take it.”

Following Adele’s weight-loss reveal, which was part of a 32nd-birthday Instagram post, several celebs praised the songstress on her new look. Among them was Sharon Osbourne who, in applauding Adele’s slimdown, also pointedly remarked that overweight women are never truly happy with themselves.
