        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Saquon Barkley is the latest professional athlete who has spoken out on the killing of George Floyd.</p><p>The Giants running back <strong>posted a Photoshop image on Instagram</strong> on Tuesday that shows him wearing a jersey that reads, “I can’t breathe.”</p><p>Floyd, 46, died last week after police officer Derek Chauvin, 44, pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck after Floyd was suspected of spending a counterfeit $20 bill. Chauvin has been charged third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.</p><p>Barkley also <a href="https://twitter.com/marquisegoodwin/status/1267801828055490560">retweeted a message from San Francisco 49ers receiver Marquise Goodwin</a> that read: &#8220;It&#8217;s not WHITE VS. BLACK, IT&#8217;S EVERYONE VS. He also sent his condolences, saying his &#8220;heart&#8221; goes out to all of them.</p><p>“Stop killing us,” he tweeted. “This isn’t just a political issue, this is about the morality of our nation.
