Giants star running back Saquon Barkley on Friday underwent surgery for the torn ACL he suffered in late September.

“Surgery was a success,” his mother, Tonya, wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the 23-year-old giving two thumbs up from the hospital bed in California.

Barkley is expected to be fully recovered by training camp ahead of next season.

A week before the surgery Barkley made headlines when he and Daniel Jones were pictured without masks Friday night in Manhattan. Barkley also was recorded riding a bike.

Barkley, Jones and several of their teammates went out for dinner, eating in a private room, and then were invited to a bar that was closed to the public, sources told The Post’s Paul Schwartz.

The Giants had the following Sunday off after losing to the Eagles on Thursday.

Both the Giants and NFL are looking into whether these actions violated the league’s COVID-19 restrictions.

Barkley’s surgery was delayed because he needed the swelling to go down around his strained MCL, which is not uncommon under these circumstances.

Also contributing to the wait was that Barkley’s surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, the head physician for the Dodgers, had been confined to the MLB playoff bubble in Arlington, Texas.

Los Angeles clinched the World Series on Tuesday.

Barkley injured his right knee on Sept. 20 in a loss to the Bears.
