The “Van Wilder” actor posted the public service announcement, which currently boasts 1.2 million views, in response to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau urging citizens to “stay at home and save lives.”

In the 1-minute Twitter clip posted Monday, Reynolds, 43, jokes: “In times of crisis,  I think we all know that it’s the celebrities that we count on most.”

He snarkily adds, “Right after health care workers, first responders, people who work in essential services, ping-pong players, mannequins, childhood imaginary friends, like 400 types of other people.”

Reynolds’ self-effacing statement is an apparent jab at self-important celebs shamelessly promoting themselves on social media amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “Stay With Me” singer Sam Smith, 27, garnered groans on Instagram after sharing footage of himself “melting down” while holed up in his $14 million London mansion.

Reynolds concludes his clip by saying “stay at home, practice social-distancing, wash your hands. We are going to get through this thing together.” Coronavirus cases recently surpassed 380,000 worldwide.

Fellow Canuck comedian Seth Rogen, 37, posted his own COVID-19 PSA in response to Reynolds’. “Stay inside, wash your hands, just don’t leave the house,” said the uncharacteristically somber funnyman, adding “there are worst things you can be asked to do.”

The well-known Twitter wits aren’t the only stars jumping on the self-isolation train.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, 72, posted a PSA last week that featured him shirtless in a hot tub while smoking a cigar a la “Scarface.” The clip was titled “Stay. At. Home. that means you, too, spring breakers” in a dig at oblivious college students partying aboard Bahamanian booze cruises despite the pandemic.

The former California governor has also gone viral for uploading multiple quarantine-touting videos of him and his pet miniature ponies urging seniors to stay inside.

Earlier this month, James Bond actor Idris Elba, 47, memorably chronicled his experience in lockdown after allegedly contracting COVID-19 from hugging Canada’s first lady Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. “Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing No panic,” read the video’s caption.

Other celeb self-isolation reppers include chef Gordon Ramsay, Kim Kardashian, Natalie Portman, Ellen DeGeneres, Elton John, Mariah Carey, David Beckham, Jane Lynch and Hilary Duff.

Not all celebrity COVID-19 videos have been well-received. Gal Gadot, 34, outraged social media haters with her attempt to boost morale with a celeb-crammed cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine,” which backfired after Twitter users wondered why they couldn’t just donate money instead.
