It makes me emotional because that’s my biggest fear: I won’t be able to take care of my kids.”

But the couple were given a boost by Springfield, who reached out on Tuesday and sang his 1981 hit. (Springfield and Snow duetted on air for a segment in 2013.)

He said:”Hi Kate, it’s Rick Springfield here, I understand you’re going through a very tough time and I wish you and your husband healing and peace. I remember back in Austin where we got together and sang a song I so thought I would send you healing and love and a song.”

Snow tweeted the video and wrote: “So many thoughtful people have reached out to us.
