        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Reese Witherspoon</strong> has made a donation to nonprofit DonorsChoose to support teachers in three Southern cities, Page Six has learned.</p><p>A rep for the charity told us when reached for comment: “The donation from Reese and [her fashion line] Draper James will support all of our highest-need teachers in New Orleans, Atlanta and Nashville, and many more throughout the country.”</p><p>The teachers get grants to spend on “resources such as books, notebooks, pencils, art supplies, activity kits and food, all shipped directly to their students’ homes.”</p><p><strong>Draper James this week got flak</strong> for a giveaway that backfired when it underestimated demand: A million teachers entered the contest for a free dress, and the company was offering only 250.</p>]]></content:encoded>
