Stassi Schroeder’s former friend warned her about her insensitive “Nazi chic” photo before it went viral.

The former “Vanderpump Rules” star posted photo of herself, Kristen Doute and comedian Rachael O’Brien back in 2018, labeling herself “Nazi Chic,” Doute as “Tupac Chic” for wearing a red bandana and O’Brien as “Criminal Chic” for wearing a beanie and with a flannel tied around her waist.

The photo was quickly deleted at the time, but screenshots of the image have been recirculating follwing Faith Stowers’ reveal that Schroeder, 31, and Doute, 37, called the police to investigate her for a crime based on her race.

O’Brien exclusively told Page Six Wednesday that she never wanted to be a part of the photo’s message, saying: “A little over two years ago I was with friends and took a picture. I saw the way it was being captioned by her and begged for it not to be captioned that way and thus posted.”

She continued, “My attempt for her to understand the severity of her caption went dismissed. That request was not honored, and I have been upset ever since. It was not then, nor has it ever been a reflection of my own value system. I am grateful to not be associated with her anymore. Our personalities and hearts are not the same.”

While Schroeder received backlash over the photo at the time, she is only now facing consequences for her racist behavior as multiple brands have stopped working with her, her PR agency dropped her as a client and she was fired from “Vanderpump Rules” alongside Max Boyens, Brett Caprioni, and Doute.

It remains unclear what caused the rift between Schroeder and O’Brien; however, the duo was once so close that O’Brien accompanied Schroeder on a trip to Mexico after she was dumped by then-boyfriend Patrick Meagher the day before they were set to leave for the romantic getaway.

Regardless, O’Brien is doing just fine without the former reality star in her life and making the most of having her “Be Here For a While” podcast by offering free advertising space on her platform for black-owned businesses.
