Presley, the mother of heartbroken Lisa Marie Presley, broke her silence by writing on Facebook, “These are some of the darkest days of my family’s life. The shock of losing Ben has been devastating.

“Trying to put all the pieces together of all the possible whys has penetrated my soul. Each day I wake up I pray it will get better. Then, I think of my daughter and the pain she is going through as she was a doting mother.

“Ben’s father, Danny, who is completely lost, as Ben was his only son. Riley, so loving and so close to him; Harper and Finley, who absolutely adored Ben. Navarone [Lisa Marie’s brother], who struggles deeply with loss and death.”

Presley, 75, added, “Rest In Peace Ben, you were loved.”

Benjamin Keough’s death was officially been ruled a suicide, and the 27-year-old son of Lisa Marie Presley died from an “intraoral shotgun wound,” the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed to Page Six on Tuesday.

Keough died on Sunday, reportedly at a family party at Lisa Marie’s Calabasas, CA, home to celebrate the birthdays of his girlfriend Diana Pinto and Ben Smith-Peterson, the husband of Keough’s sister Riley.

It was reported that police arrived at 6 a.m. on July 12 found Keough had locked himself in the bathroom and shot himself in the head.

Pinto also posted a loving, heartbroken tribute to her late boyfriend of more than four years, on Instagram on Sunday.

She wrote “I don’t know how I’m supposed to do this life without you” and that she now knows “the true meaning of grief.”
