Princess Eugenie‘s father-in-law, George Brooksbank, 71, is reportedly in intensive care with COVID-19, according to The Mirror, in “serious but stable” condition.

Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are said to be traumatized as a source told the paper: “George has been very sick but the whole family has been rallying round to help”.

George, a retired accountant, lives with his wife in Wandsworth, south London.

In March, Prince Charles announced he had contracted the Coronavirus — he has since recovered — while Andrew Parker Bowles, Camilla’s ex-husband is currently fighting the virus.

Meanwhile, Eugenie’s sister, Beatrice, has postponed her wedding reception to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi over the coronavirus. The couple were due to wed in May at Chapel Royal in St. James’s Palace on May 29 and later feted by the Queen in a private reception at Buckingham Palace.

However plans are now being scaled back and the wedding may be postponed.
