        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Pop star <strong>Miley Cyrus</strong> was hit with a lawsuit Wednesday for allegedly stealing a photographer&#8217;s shot of her at New York Fashion Week and posting it to her Instagram account.</p><p>Atlanta-based shooter Chosen Figure took the snap of Cyrus, wearing a crop top, black slacks and red boots, as she left the Marc Jacobs show Feb. 12, according to the suit filed in Manhattan federal court.</p><p>The photo later appeared on her Instagram page and garnered 2,618,259 likes.</p><p>&#8220;Defendants ran the photograph on their website to promote their brand,&#8221; wrote lawyer Richard Liebowitz in the suit that also names Cyrus&#8217; company. &#8220;Defendants did not license the photograph &#8230; nor did defendants have Plaintiff’s permission or consent to publish the photograph.&#8221;</p><p>The suit seeks $150,000 in damages.</p><p>A rep for Cyrus, who recently <strong>revealed she is six months sober,</strong> couldn&#8217;t immediately be reached for comment.</p>]]></content:encoded>
