The reality star, 39, shared what appears to be an edited photo of himself rocking his newly-grown facial hair Friday, leading fans to question exactly which “Jersey Shore” cast member they were seeing before their eyes.

“Why does Pauly D look like Ronnie dressed up as Pauly D,” wrote one fan, while another added, “I was about to say ‘hahaha this person looks like Pauly D’ but it really is just Pauly D looking like someone pretending to be Pauly D.”

Fans of the popular DJ continued to question the photo, telling the Jersey native, “Idk who you are but if you don’t give Pauly D his phone back.” Another complimented the new look, writing, “Pauly D got fine af and Im not about to be shamed out of admitting that.” 

Co-star Vinny Guadagnino also went through his own physical transformation recently, revealing the results of his weight loss journey Wednesday.

“A lot of people didn’t know that I struggled with my weight my whole life. I was the king of yo-yo dieting,” Vinny shared. “I was my biggest during the years I was off TV so a lot of people didn’t realize.”
