Kiernan tweeted his officiant certificate over the weekend, saying, “I can perform weddings by videoconference now. If your routine as a couple includes spending mornings with NY1 and you’re looking to make it official, let’s try to make it happen.”

Kiernan clarified on air Monday, “I’m not gonna facilitate that for every New Yorker … but if you have a relationship with NY1, if you have been watching every morning through your courtship, I’ll step in.”
