        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Naya Rivera drowned “in minutes,” according to her death certificate.</p><p>The document was <strong>obtained by The Daily Mail</strong> on Thursday, more than three weeks after the 33-year-old “Glee” actress’ body <strong>was found floating</strong> in Lake Piru in Southern California.</p><p>The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office previously <strong>conducted an autopsy</strong> and confirmed Rivera accidentally drowned during a boat trip with her 4-year-old son Josey Dorsey.</p><p>The boy, Rivera’s son from her marriage to actor Ryan Dorsey, was found asleep on the pontoon, wrapped in a towel and wearing his life jacket.</p><p>He <strong>told authorities</strong> he and his mom had gone swimming, and that she’d boosted him onto the deck from behind. He then looked back and saw her disappear under the surface of the water.</p><p><strong>Authorities spent</strong> nearly six days scouring the lake for her remains.</p><p>Rivera had no underlying ailments, and no drugs or alcohol were found in her system either, the autopsy found.</p><p>She was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles last Friday, according to her death certificate.</p><p>Ryan Dorsey, 37, <strong>posted a heartbreaking tribute</strong> to his ex after her death was confirmed writing, “there’s not enough words to express the hole left in everyone’s hearts.”</p><p>“I can’t believe this is life now. I don’t know if I’ll ever believe it,&#8221; he wrote on Instagram.</p><p>The couple <strong>split in 2018</strong> after four years of marriage.</p>]]></content:encoded>
