“I have talked to some people,” she told Katie Couric on Instagram Live. “If you do one of those series, it’s like making three or four movies. I’m 70, I don’t want all that. It’s too much. I have done it for 40 years. . .but maybe I would make a movie.”

Meyers says she has questioned herself what a comedy script would look like in a post coronavirus world. “If you were setting a movie in a contemporary setting, how do you ignore this?”
