No one else stood a chance. It just became so obvious from her subsequent few dates that her heart wasn’t in it and she just wasn’t feeling it. Though they <strong>went their separate ways</strong>, the duo rekindled their romance in September.</p><p>&#8220;I talked to my mom about it and I decided I wanted to go after him,” Adams said at the time, <strong>according to People</strong>. &#8220;I’m a bold girl.&#8221;</p><p>By October, however, Adams and Jones, 24, had called it quits. Despite the breakup, it seems they&#8217;re on friendly terms as Jones recently <strong>told Us Weekly</strong> he is &#8220;really happy&#8221; for Adams as she reportedly ventures on her &#8220;Bachelorette&#8221; journey.</p><h2>All of Bachelor Nation is rooting for her</h2><p>Adams has all of Bachelor Nation in her corner. In response to the news of her rumored casting, several stars from the franchise, including the first black &#8220;Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, commended the choice.</p><p>&#8220;When I stepped in as Bachelorette, I wanted to pave a way for more diversity, for more people who look like me and who didn’t look like the typical lead,&#8221; Lindsay <strong>told &#8220;Entertainment Tonight&#8221;</strong> on Monday. &#8220;So to see another Bachelorette of color, I’m thrilled.&#8221;</p><p>Former &#8220;Bachelorette&#8221; Kaitlyn Bristowe also weighed in.</p><p>&#8220;Holy freaking plot twist of Tayshia becoming the new &#8216;Bachelorette,&#8217; and Clare apparently found love,&#8221; Bristowe said Monday on her Instagram story. &#8220;I&#8217;m super pumped on this&#8230; but what is happening?
