        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Mets <strong>may not be involved</strong>, but the interest in Matt Harvey appears to be gaining international momentum.</p><p>Teams in the Korea Baseball Organization and Japan&#8217;s Nippon Professional Baseball are looking at Harvey, according to MLB Network&#8217;s <a href="https://twitter.com/JonHeyman/status/1270457535099699205" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jon Heyman</a>. Last week, Harvey&#8217;s representatives <strong>had reached out to KBO teams</strong> and now the interest may be mutual.</p><p>The 31-year-old Harvey has been <strong>posting videos of himself</strong> throwing bullpens as he attempts a comeback. He last pitched for the Las Vegas Aviators, the Athletics&#8217; Triple-A team, at the end of last season after getting released by the Angels.</p><p>“I hope somebody gives me a shot,&#8221; Harvey recently <strong>told The Post&#8217;s Dan Martin</strong>. &#8220;I feel like I have many more years in me.”</p><p>While Harvey may be injury-free, the Mets are not expected to give him a shot to prove it, The Post&#8217;s Mike Puma reported.</p><p>The KBO is already about 30 games into its season while the NPB is set to return June 19.</p>]]></content:encoded>
