Madonna continued her one-sided siege on social media mores Thursday by posting a video of her son David Banda dancing to Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us,” with the apparent intention of honoring George Floyd, who died in police custody Monday.

“Brutal murder travels around the world,” the 61-year-old singer’s caption for the video began. “My son David Dances to honor and pay tribute to George and His Family and all Acts of Racism and Discrimination that happen on a daily basis in America.”

Madonna’s bizarre quarantine videos, which staffers are unable to stop, have become undeniably fascinating lockdown watching. Madonna adopted Banda, 13, from Malawi in 2006. In 2019, she told the UK Times that Banda has “more of my DNA than any of my children so far”.
