During a virtual appearance on the latest installment of “The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever,” Prewett opened up about life after Peter’s season of “The Bachelor,” which wrapped in March with the “After the Final Rose” special that featured Barb voicing her displeasure over her son’s choice of partners.

“As far as with Barb, there’s absolutely no hard feelings there. She is a great mom, and she was just doing her job as a mom to protect her son in the way that she felt that she needed to and I wish them all the best,” Prewett told “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison, according to Bachelor Nation Scoop.

On the Season 24 finale of “The Bachelor,” Peter proposed to fellow contestant Hannah Ann Sluss after Prewett had broken up with him. The 28-year-old pilot later ended his engagement with Sluss, 24, amid his lingering feelings for Prewett, also 24. Barb then made it clear on national TV she preferred Sluss to Prewett.

“He’s going to have to fail to succeed,” Barb said earlier this year.

Following Prewett’s initial comments Monday, Harrison said there’s a “zero chance there was no hard feelings” about the Weber family matriarch.

“I was very upset after, I really was,” Prewett responded. “But now, I’m just in such a good place. But after the show, yes, I cried.”

In March, Peter and Prewett confirmed they would not pursue a relationship. Later that month, he was spotted in Chicago with fellow “Bachelor” contestant Kelley Flanagan, who has since become his girlfriend.

“Kelley and I were really close on the show, and obviously I loved Peter. I’m happy that he’s found a person that he feels like he can be the best version of himself with, and that his family loves and supports. I truly am so happy for them,” Prewett said.

Flanagan has not only received Barb’s stamp of approval, but her romance has now been immortalized in a new Instagram video.
