        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Chalk one up for &#8220;Aunt Becky.&#8221;</p><p>A federal judge presiding over the nationwide college admissions scandal that netted actress <strong>Lori Loughlin</strong> called allegations investigators pressured a cooperating witness to entrap parents &#8220;serious and disturbing,&#8221; <strong>NBC News reports</strong>.</p><p>Attorneys for the couple and other defendants are now looking for US District Judge Nathaniel Gorton to toss the case, according to newly-obtained court documents.</p><p>In the three-page memo and order submitted Friday, the defense team cites notes from government star witness, William &#8220;Rick&#8221; Singer, in which he claims probers told him to &#8220;bend the truth&#8221; and &#8220;tell a fib&#8221; in order to &#8220;retrieve responses that are not accurate,&#8221; NBC News reports.</p><p>Singer, the scheme&#8217;s mastermind, wore a wire for investigators to expose the swindle.</p><p>The &#8220;Full House&#8221; star and her fashion designer husband, <strong>Mossimo Giannulli</strong>, <strong>allegedly paid $500,000</strong> to get their two daughters, Olivia Jade, now 20, and Isabella Rose, 21, into the University of Southern California as crew recruits.</p><p>The celebs are among dozens of parents accused of paying bribes to get their children into top-tier colleges and universities.</p><p>Loughlin and Giannulli have pleaded not guilty to fraud, bribery and money laundering conspiracy charges.</p><p>Earlier this month, federal prosecutors released the photos they say helped Loughlin and Giannulli <strong>scam their daughters’ way into USC</strong>.</p><p><strong>The photos,</strong> included in court documents filed as part of the FBI’s case, show Olivia and Isabella, their faces blurred, in workout attire on ERG rowing machines.</p>]]></content:encoded>
