Lady Gaga stars on InStyle’s May cover, dressed in a screaming pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown, studded leather Gasoline Glamour collar and nearly elbow-length silver cuffs by Manuel Albarran that made it impossible for her to walk, sit or even turn her head.

On Wednesday, the magazine shared a behind-the-scenes clip of the “Stupid Love” singer, 34, being carried onto the set of her shoot by an assistant, neck rigid and arms crossed over her chest in the manner of King Tut’s mummy.

“Fashioooon,” Gaga sings as she’s hand-delivered to her post in front of the camera.

In her cover shoot, the pop icon models more impractical (though very pretty) designer looks, ranging from a white pleated Givenchy Haute Couture dress accessorized with a rather heavy-looking gold Philip Treacy London hat to a bubblegum-hued veil topped with a gilded skeleton.

In line with the apparent color scheme for her upcoming album “Chromatica,” which was postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic, Gaga also sports pink hair, nails and makeup throughout the spread.

In the interview, the star’s friend and stylist Nicola Formichetti, with whom Gaga reunited for her new album cycle, hinted that there’s more “punk-rock” fashion moments to come during the “Chromatica” rollout.

“I want to bring back the sex and the edginess of her with materials like latex and leather and spikes and studs and mix them with couture,” he told the glossy.

Let’s just hope she’s still able to dance.
