With gyms as well as hair and nail salons shut down in the face of the COVID-19 crisis, La La Anthony is whipping up her own beauty treatments at home.

“I have been mixing castor oil and avocado,” the 38-year-old star told Page Six Style of her go-to DIY hair mask, which calls for just a couple simple ingredients you likely have in your kitchen.

“I just really got into the henna mask [as well]. I never even knew about that before and my hair has been doing really good. I’m hoping this is something I can keep up with.”

The silver lining of being stuck at her house, Anthony continued, is that she’s able to prioritize self-care.

“I wash my hair like every two or three days now because I’m working on the Peloton and get sweaty,” she continued. “I’m not able to do that [in] my regular life because I’m so busy.”

The “Power” actress added that taking a break from on-set styling has been helpful, too. “I’m not putting any heat on my hair. I condition it and keep it healthy. It’s nice just to let it breathe and rest. Same thing with my nails. I just popped them off a while ago, and I think my nails are thanking me. Everything is getting a reset.”

Anthony is also finding ways to give back during the pandemic, having teamed up with Eat Clean Bro and Hot 97 to deliver meals to hospital workers. Every Tuesday and Thursday through May 7, care packages will be delivered to different hospitals.
