On Sunday, the “Very Cavallari” star, 33, and former Bears, 36, quarterback announced they are divorcing after seven years of marriage.

“With great sadness after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” they said in a joint statement on Instagram.

A day later, however, Cavallari accused Cutler of “inappropriate marital conduct,” shortly after the pair returned to the US following a three-week quarantine in the Bahamas.

While the latter part of their marriage was documented on Cavallari’s E! reality series, take a look at their decade-long romance.

2009: Why Cavallari originally said ‘thanks, but no thanks,’ to Cutler

California beauty Cavallari wasn’t interested in having a Chicago-based beau in Cutler during her time on MTV’s “The Hills.”

“I got a call from my publicist that Jay wanted to fly me out to Chicago and take me out. I didn’t know who he was! I had to Google him,” Cavallari said in a 2013 “A Drink With” interview. “I was in the middle of filming ‘The Hills’ so I was like, ‘I don’t want a boyfriend in Chicago,’ and passed on it.

A year later, things were much different. “I was here visiting my mom and we ended up going to a pre-season game. I had forgotten all about it and my mom said, ‘Didn’t Jay Cutler ask you out?’ Long story short I ended up meeting him and when he walked in I was like, ‘Oh my goodness!’ I thought he was really cute,” Cavallari said.

2010: Their romance begins

Perhaps a long-distance relationship was in the cards for Cavallari and Cutler after all.

As the Uncommon James founder detailed in her 2016 book, “Balancing in Heels,” she found herself flying “back to Chicago at least every two weeks.”

“When we were apart, we texted constantly, and he wrote me the sweetest love emails. He was the strong, manly man I wanted but had a sweet, romantic side as well,” Cavallari wrote.

2011: Rollercoaster engagement and speculated split

After Cutler proposed to Cavallari that April, the couple called off their engagement months later.

“A few things needed to change, and I knew the only way Jay would see how serious I was, was if I ended the relationship,” Cavallari shared in her book, noting Cutler “envisioned himself being the sole breadwinner and his wife staying at home.”

By late 2011, the engagement was back on.

“It was so silly,” Cavallari recalled to E! News in 2013. “I was in the airport, leaving Chicago. We had just spent however many days together and we were texting and somehow it came up, like, ‘Oh, shall we get married?’ We’re like, ‘Yeah, OK.’ And then he sent my ring in the mail. So I actually had my ring sitting at home for a couple of weeks before I put it on.”

2012: Special delivery

In August, Cavallari and Cutler welcomed their first child together, son Camden.

“We are thrilled to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world,” Cavallari tweeted at the time. “He was born this morning weighing 7lbs 9oz. Everyone is doing great!”

2013: Officially Mr. and Mrs. Cutler

In June, Cavallari and Cutler said “I do” at Nashville’s Woodmont Christian Church. The bride wore a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown for the big day. They later honeymooned in Italy.

“Just had the most amazing 2 weeks in Italy! My jeans are tight so u know it was a success ha,” Cavallari joked on Twitter.

2014: The Cutlers add another member to their offensive line

In May, Cavallari announced the birth of her second child with Cutler, son Jaxon.

“Welcome Jaxon Wyatt Cutler,” Cavallari shared on Instagram, revealing Jaxon had weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces.

2015: Party of five

In November, the Cutlers welcomed their third child, daughter Saylor James.

“Kristin and Jay are so happy!” a source told E! News of the parents at the time. “They were surrounded by friends and family. Kristin is so thrilled to welcome her new baby girl to her family! Jaxon and Camden are excited to be older brothers. She is feeling great!”

2017: Cutlers on the move

The Chicago era of Cutler’s football legacy came to an end in March after eight seasons. The family then relocated to Nashville.

“They have a place down there, it’s where Jay went to college and he’s got lots of friends there,” an insider told People of the move. “Nashville has a special place in her heart as it’s where she got married.”

Cavallari later bid farewell to Chicago in a touching Instagram post.

“So we’re moving from Chicago soon and I gotta say, I’m really gonna miss this place. Not only we’re all 3 of my babies born here, it’s where it all began with jay, it brought me closer to my mom who has become my best friend, I’ve made some amazing girlfriends, and I’ve really enjoyed being back here (a lot of people don’t know I lived here when I was younger),” she wrote. “Thanks for all the good times, Chicago. This will always be a special place for us.”

As for Cutler, he later signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.

2018: A breakout star is born

Following the July premiere of “Very Cavallari,” Cutler became a fan favorite on his wife’s reality series, which documents Cavallari’s life, including her budding jewelry brand Uncommon James.

“Jay Cutler’s transcendent performance on the #VeryCavallari premier is a beacon of unity that we all needed in these dark times,” one viewer tweeted at the time.

“I so needed a Jay Cutler reality tv show in my life,” another wrote.

Cavallari later stated she’s glad fans can see another side of Cutler.

“He’s been having fun with the show. Now that he sees he had a really positive reaction he’s been having a good time with it,” she told People that year.

2020: Rocky road ahead

During the Season 3 premiere of “Very Cavallari” in January, Cavallari revealed she and former BFF Kelly Henderson had a falling out as a result of cheating rumors involving Cutler.

“When season two was airing, there was a lot of talk on social media about Jay and Kelly having an affair,” Cavallari said in the episode, according to People. “Not for one second have I ever thought that it was true. It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it.”

Cavallari also told Page Six how addressing Henderson on-air was “challenging.”

“It was actually challenging for me at first to talk about the Kelly stuff,” Cavallari said. “I started filming Season 3 and I didn’t talk about it because I was trying to navigate through the situation myself and I was hesitant to put it out there until I could really wrap my head around it and know what was going on.”

Following the Henderson drama, Cavallari and Cutler ventured to the Bahamas on spring break in March, when they were joined by co-stars Justin Anderson and Austin Rhodes. The group was quarantined in the Bahamas for three weeks, as a result of the coronavirus crisis, and returned to the US earlier this month.

The group also received backlash online as a result of their sun-kissed group snaps.

Weeks after their return, Cavallari and Cutler confirmed they were splitting up.
