        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Kim Kardashian</strong>&#8216;s latest television project is a big change for the reality star.</p><p>The &#8220;KUWTK&#8221; star, 39, is combining her passion for prison reform and her celebrity status to star in a two-hour documentary special, &#8220;Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project.&#8221; The film will chronicle her journey to help four inmates who she believes are wrongfully sentenced for their alleged crimes.</p><p>She will also serve as the documentary&#8217;s executive producer.</p><p>The mom-of-four was <strong>seen filming for the project</strong> at the DC Correctional Treatment Facility in Washington in July.</p><p>Kardashian has been studying to become a lawyer and is currently completing an apprenticeship with a San Francisco-based law firm. She previously <strong>lobbied the White House</strong> for help with A$AP Rocky&#8217;s Swedish imprisonment over the summer in addition to quietly <strong>funding a campaign to free 17 federal inmates</strong> serving life sentences for low-level drug offenses last spring.</p><p>“Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project&#8221; premieres on Oxygen on Sunday, April 5, at 7 p.m. ET.</p>]]></content:encoded>
