The reality star, 39, posted a video to her Instagram on Monday showing off a custom corset by famed corsetier Mister Pearl — revealing that the original made for her infamous 2019 Met Gala look was “misplaced.”

“I want it so badly preserved for my archive that I flew to London to have another made for the archive,” Kardashian wrote. She also teased that her upcoming 40th birthday in October will feature some over-the-top outfits. “We also might have started making a few more looks including my special 40th bday look. Can’t wait to show you the LOOKSSSS we’ve been cooking up.”

Kardashian took breathing lessons for months in order to prepare to hit the Met museum steps in her “dripping wet” Thierry Mugler look and had to remain upright most of the night in order to keep the look together. She even said that she “never felt pain like that” but declared the sacrifice “so worth it.”

Not only did Kim suffer through the night in her corset, but she squeezed back into it for the September cover of Vogue Arabia last year.
