        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This can’t be a coincidence.</p><p>Following her <strong>surprise split</strong> from husband Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson&#8217;s cover of Aretha Franklin&#8217;s 1967 hit, “Chain of Fools,” has tongues wagging.</p><p>In a clip posted to the singer&#8217;s &#8220;Kelly Clarkson Show&#8221; YouTube channel — the first she&#8217;s posted since her return to Los Angeles from quarantining in Montana — Clarkson, 38, can be seen belting out the song&#8217;s iconic lyrics, “I ain&#8217;t nothin&#8217; but your fool, Ya treated me mean, Oh you treated me cruel.”</p><p><span class="embed-youtube" ><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CpqP-bKnHQU?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;autohide=2&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent" frameborder="0" width="600" height="315"></iframe></span></p><p><span class="s1">Last week, the “Since U Been Gone” singer filed for divorce from Blackstock, 43, her husband of nearly seven years. The couple share two children, River Rose, 5, and Remington Alexander, 4.</span></p><p><span class="s1">While the couple&#8217;s split may have come as a surprise, Clarkson did <strong>reveal in a recent episode</strong> of her show that Blackstock — who has two children from a previous marriage — did not want any more kids. </span></p><p><span class="s1">&#8220;I so want another child,&#8221; Clarkson told her guest, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, &#8220;and my husband is like, &#8216;No, we have four.&#8217;&#8221;</span></p>]]></content:encoded>
