<![CDATA[Katy Perry Gets in the Holiday Spirit, Dresses Up Like a Christmas Tree]]>

From her early days as an emerging pop artist to today as one of the hottest women in music, the songstress has never been scared to take a fashion risk.

Case in point: In 2008, she showed up to a taping of FNMTV in Hollywood wearing a pink and green dress with a panda bear on it. In 2011, she showed off her inner Smurfette at the Smurf’s NYC premiere in a white minidress with a sequin Smurf on the front.

One place she always loves to show off her bold and unique sense of style is the Met Gala. Moschino‘s Jeremy Scott created her multicolored gown for 2015’s “China: Through the Looking Glass.” Wearing a red tulle avant garde dress by John Galliano in 2017, the A-lister walked the stairs with a veil over her face and a headpiece overtop. But her wildest had to be during this year’s big fashion event.

Donning two absolutely outrageous ensembles to embrace the camp theme, she dressed as actual objects. The first look was a chandelier that lit up and the second a cheeseburger with a lettuce slip dress underneath (because obvi), both of which were created once again by Jeremy Scott for Moschino.

Thanks to a no-fear fashion attitude mixed with plenty of self-confidence, the “Firework” singer never fails in her ability to spark conversations about her ever-changing styles. Here, a look at Perry’s wackiest outfits over the years, from her “I Kissed a Girl” breakout in 2008 to today.
