        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Prince William</strong> and <strong>Kate Middleton</strong> rang up the National Health Service to thank staffers for their hard work amid the coronavirus pandemic.</p><p>&#8220;We would just like to say from the two of us, you know, how proud we are of all of you and how amazing you&#8217;re all doing under extreme circumstances,&#8221; the Duke of Cambridge, 37, said on their call to the NHS.</p><p>He specifically called out their bravery for continuing to go into work in such dark times.</p><p>&#8220;Now I know all of you, you say this is your job and you get on with it but generally this is a different level and you guys are doing an incredible job,&#8221; he said.</p><p>He continued, &#8220;The whole country is proud of you and not just us. We really mean that so thank you for everything you&#8217;re doing and all the hours you&#8217;re putting in.&#8221;</p><p>The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, was also on the call though she didn&#8217;t chime in and instead let her husband do the talking.</p><p>The royal couple <strong>plan to help those struggling from the outbreak</strong>, shifting their usual agenda to focus on the fight against COVID-19.</p><p>They have been practicing social distancing while also <strong>continuing to be in contact</strong> with organizations and patronages devoted to stopping the spread and helping those in need.</p><p>The Royals have been affected as well, with Prince Charles <strong>testing positive</strong> for coronavirus last month. He is now <strong>out of self-isolation.</strong></p><p>Meanwhile, the Queen and Prince Phillip <strong>are in lockdown in Windsor castle</strong> over coronavirus fears.</p>]]></content:encoded>
