With a song that was popular 37 years ago, British singer Kate Bush continued to top the charts.

Bush's creepy 1985 art-pop song "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" broke three all-time records on Friday, thanks to its use in the Netflix sci-fi drama "Stranger Things."

The Official Charts Company says that it took the 37-year-old resurgent hit the longest time ever for a single to reach No. 1.

Bush, who is 63, is now also the oldest female artist to reach the top of the charts.

She also has the record for going the longest time between No. 1 singles. When she was 19, her song "Wuthering Heights" was a big hit in the UK.

When "Running Up That Hill" came out, it was at its best when it was No. 3.

Bush said in a statement earlier this month, "It's very touching that the song has been so well received, especially since it's being driven by young fans who love the shows."

It's not the first time that a classic hit has become popular again because of something that happened recently in pop culture.

In 2020, a TikTok video of a man drinking cranberry juice and longboarding while listening to Fleetwood Mac's 1977 song "Dreams" pushed the band up to No. 3 on the Billboard charts.
