Despite laughing off the vile incident — and nicknaming his wife, Amber Heard, “Amber Turd” because of it — Depp, 57, was “sullen and disgusted” when first told it had been found in his bed, his property manager, Kevin Murphy, told London’s High Court.

“At that stage, I believe he suggested getting the feces DNA tested to see where they had come from,” Murphy told the court.

Heard, 34, was also angry — but only because everyone’s interference in spreading the photos of the poop “was not helping” her marital strife with Depp, Murphy said.

“She also told me that leaving the feces in Mr. Depp’s bed had been ‘just a harmless prank,’” Murphy said, according to the Evening Standard, confirming claims made earlier in the case by Depp, who believed it was left by his wife or one of her friends.

Heard — who on Tuesday denied being behind the feces stunt — has accused Murphy of lying by saying she confessed it was a prank, the court was told.

Sasha Wass, the lawyer for The Sun — the paper Depp is suing for libel — also accused the property manager of making it up to make Heard look “absurd and disgusting in the public eye,” Sky News reported.

Murphy insisted he was “just telling the truth.”

It was not immediately clear when or why Depp dropped the plan to test the poo.

He soon started insisting he found the stunt “amusing,” however, with a series of jokes in texts he sent being read in court, Sky News reported.

“My wife left a whopper poop on my bed. Amber Turd,” he wrote in one, while another said, “I’ve been through a whole lot of s–t with her …”

Heard, meanwhile, had previously complained about one of her Yorkshire terriers, Boo, and her toilet habits — fearing brain damage.

“Last night she shit ON Johnny while he was sleeping, like all over him. Not exaggerating,” she wrote in one text in 2014 two years prior to the poop-in-bed debacle.
