        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Joe Rogan’s podcast is getting a new home at Spotify. </span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">“The Joe Rogan Experience,” one of the most popular podcasts in the world, will become a Spotify exclusive.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">The digital music service announced Tuesday that it signed the podcast for a multiyear exclusive licensing deal. The series has been the most searched for podcast on Spotify, <strong>according to a press release</strong>.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Up until now, Rogan’s show has never been available on Spotify. But starting Sept. 1, the podcast will be available on Spotify, as well as all other platforms, Rogan <a href="https://twitter.com/joerogan/status/1262812859983151104?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">tweeted</a>. At the end of the year, it will move exclusively to Spotify.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Both full audio and video will be available through Spotify. Listeners won’t have to pay to access the episodes but will have to be Spotify users.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Rogan, 52, will still have full creative control over the show, according to the press release.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Last year, <strong>Rogan said</strong> his show reached about 190 million downloads per month. Moving the show to Spotify will give the platform’s more than 286 million active users access to the show.</span></p><p>The host recently faced some <strong>backlash from fans</strong> for bragging about his ability to get multiple coronavirus tests on an episode of his podcast with guest Chris D&#8217;Elia.</p><p class="p1"><span class="s1">Rogan’s <strong>YouTube channel</strong> currently has 8.41 million subscribers and is known for hosting high-profile guests including Sen. Bernie Sanders, Elon Musk and Russell Brand, as well as for being the host of NBC’s “Fear Factor.”</span></p>]]></content:encoded>
