        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As fascination with <strong>“Tiger King”</strong> star <strong>Joe Exotic</strong> continues, he’s participating in <strong>a series coming to Investigation Discovery</strong>.</p><p>“Investigating the Strange World of Joe Exotic” will explore the disappearance of Jack “Don” Lewis, first husband of Exotic’s nemesis Carole Baskin.</p><p>“It’s going to take a deeper dive into the crime,” an insider said. “Joe has a contract for the project, and he is going to be participating,” although it’s unclear exactly how — since he’s locked up.</p><p>Lewis vanished in 1997. Exotic accused Baskin of foul play, which she denied. After the popularity of Netflix’s “Tiger King,” a local sheriff, Chad Chronister, is seeking new leads in the case. Exotic is serving 22 years for a murder-for-hire plot to off Baskin and violating multiple wildlife laws.</p><p>ID honcho Henry Schleiff said of the new project: “Millions of true crime fans around the world were left wanting more … It’s time to let the ‘cat out of the bag’ and address the lingering questions.” Netflix is reportedly releasing a new episode of the docuseries next week.</p>]]></content:encoded>
