Some Americans were reporting errors with the new tool, Get My Payment, which was launched to help taxpayers figure out when to anticipate their payments.

“The IRS ‘Get my Payment’ site keeps going down for technical difficulty,” wrote one Twitter user, who added that there was “no way to contact IRS on the site.”

Others who were able to access the site said the tracker was unable to provide any information about their stimulus checks.

One Twitter user complained that they filled out their information only to get the response that their “payment status was not available.”

“Yo @IRSnews your get my payment site is a joke,” the user wrote. “Don’t launch something that’s not going to work for 95% of the people trying to use it.”

Meanwhile, others reported that the US Bank’s site also crashed Wednesday as taxpayers tried to access their accounts.

“It must be #PayDay for America as @usbank’s website just crashed,” tweeted a user.

The Trump administration said more than 80 million Americans are expected to receive direct deposits by Wednesday with their portion of the $2.2 trillion stimulus package Congress passed last month.
