Return pallets are big stacks of boxes full of items that customers sent back for unknown reasons. They are sold by the pallet load at very low prices.

When you buy returns pallets, there's no way to know for sure that the products will work, so there's always a risk.

Even though it was risky, Maples, who is from Canada, went ahead and put in the order.

The YouTuber, who has more than 481,000 Instagram followers, recorded the whole thing in a 35-minute video called "I Bought A Pallet Of Amazon Returns!! *215 ITEMS*" and posted it on her account. In the video, she talked curious shoppers through the process.

"When I say I was attracted to this, I mean I was really attracted to it," she said in the clip before saying that she bought the home furniture pallet with 215 items from Restock Canada.

In the US, shoppers can also order return pallets from reputable liquidation companies like Quicklotz and Bulq, which sell a lot of return pallets from many different companies.

“Returns can be for any reason, you’ve probably returned something at some point in your life,” she told fans. “You do run the risk of buying an entire return box of broken items. This is a risky game we play today.”

Maples said the pallet was delivered just six days after she ordered it.

“Yes I might grab a few things here and there that I want to keep but the majority of the items will be donated to charities — some homeless shelters, some women’s shelters, a bunch of places, wherever we see fit for items,” she said in the clip.

Maples was shocked when she opened the pallet and saw how many things she got for the price she paid.

As well as kitchenware, the package came with shoe racks, drying racks, water bottles, Tupperware sets, picture frames, and lunch bags.

She also got a set for making fondue, a can opener, and a set of scales.

The YouTuber also unboxed a shower caddy, toilet seats, a toilet brush, and towels for her bathroom.

There were also a lot of lighting fixtures, blankets, napkins, curtains, six rugs, and a lot of other things.

After a while of trying things and seeing what didn't work, the influencer said that about 10–20% of the things didn't work.

She did the math and found that, on average, each item cost $2.60.

“We won’t be keeping or trying our hand at selling stuff. We will be testing everything and throwing away the broken stuff,” she said.
