        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Miley Cyrus</strong> is relying on technology to stay in touch with family members while isolating amid the coronavirus pandemic.</p><p>&#8220;My mom and I pretty much FaceTime from the minute I’m awake until I’m asleep,&#8221; she <strong>recently told WSJ. magazine.</strong> &#8220;I love that she has nothing to do; so she has to just sit with me every moment, which is like the good old days!&#8221;</p><p>Admitting that this is the longest she&#8217;s ever gone without seeing her mother, <strong>Tish Cyrus</strong>, and dad, <strong>Billy Ray Cyrus</strong>, the 27-year-old revealed she had convince her dad to video chat.</p><p>&#8220;My dad had two BlackBerrys: He said two BlackBerrys equal an iPhone, which is not true,&#8221; she said, &#8220;So we mailed my dad an iPhone that was already set up that only has one button, which is FaceTime, on the homescreen.&#8221;</p><p>Miley is looking forward to being able to see her parents again after quarantine is over.</p><p>&#8220;The first thing I want to do is definitely hug my mom and dad when I get the green light that it’s safe,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Right now, my mom won’t get anywhere near me.&#8221;</p><p>The &#8220;Malibu&#8221; singer also shared that she, unfortunately, hasn&#8217;t been able to communicate much with her grandma because of the COVID-19 outbreak.</p><p>&#8220;My mom’s mom is still with us. I’m so lucky, and we want to keep it that way, so we haven’t been able to see her,&#8221; Miley said. &#8220;She lives in senior living, so we are not able to go visit her. It’s the longest I’ve gone without seeing my mom or my grandma.&#8221;</p><p>She added that because her grandma doesn&#8217;t have Instagram, she is unable to watch Miley&#8217;s Instagram Live show, &#8220;Bright Minded.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;My grandma runs my fan club. She is my biggest fan and she doesn’t have Instagram, so she hasn’t seen the show,&#8221; she said, joking, &#8220;I’m going to have to put this on VHS for her.&#8221;</p><p>The pop star also revealed that while &#8220;Bright Minded&#8221; has been on hiatus, the show will be returning with even more depth.</p><p>“This show has evolved so deeply from trying to provide some escapism to actually the opposite: to not escaping, to diving into deeper involvement with our community,” she said.</p>]]></content:encoded>
