Though it’s always fun seeing famous faces in the crowd at football’s biggest game of the year, it’s also just as exciting to see how they celebrate the Super Bowl just like Us — lounging on their couches with bowls of snacks.

From curated cocktails and menu items to simply watching with their family and friends, these celebrities know how to throw a party. Mindy Kaling, for one, paid tribute to her Super Bowl snacks in February 2020. “A moment of respect for the crudités platter, the loneliest item at the super bowl party,” she tweeted at the time, alongside a photo of the dish.

Busy Philipps replied to show her support for the vegetables. “I’ll get down with all of those veggies except the baby carrots cause I once got food poisoning after eating some and I’ve never recovered,” she wrote.

Kaling revealed via her Instagram Story that the platter was the only thing she “contributed” to the lineup. For the rest of the food, she turned to chef Kelsey Gregg.

“My kitchen smells amazing because I’m going to have an insane Super Bowl spread today, which of course I am not cooking,” she explained. “Kelsey has been working with me forever, she’s the best chef, and on days like this, when I’m having people over, I don’t want to leave it [to] me and my devices. Otherwise we would just eat chips and a can of salsa.”

While celebrities, including Whitney Port and Jessica Alba, in the past have turned to Chrissy Teigen’s recipes for inspiration when it comes to their own Super Bowl parties, her mom, Vilailuck Teigen, stole the show in February 2021 with her crispy chicken wings.

“Crispy, juicy wings [seasoned] with pepper and fish sauce are the king of party snacks in our house: Miles and Luna ask for seconds. John [Legend] craves them when he’s watching football. Chrissy burns her fingers because she can’t wait long enough for them to cool,” an excerpt from The Pepper Thai Cookbook: Family Recipes From Everyone’s Favorite Thai Mom read. “I love them because they’re so quick and simple – more time for partying.”

Meanwhile, Chrissy recommended her staples, including everything bagel pigs in a blanket, cheesy guacamole, pizza dip and baked “fried” pickles, on her Cravings by Chrissy Teigen website.

Whether you’re a diehard football fan like Diddy or pep up during the commercials because that’s what you’re really watching for — get some ideas of how to spend your Super Bowl Sunday.
