As the late Princess of Wales, Emma Corrin dons outfits modeled after the royal’s most memorable looks, from the red and gold Bellville Sassoon dress she wore to the 1981 premiere of “For Your Eyes Only” to her iconic wedding gown by David and Elizabeth Emanuel, with its 25-foot train and enormous skirt and sleeves.

“The Crown” costume designer Amy Roberts previously told The Post that she incorporated plenty of color into Diana’s costumes. “I wanted her clothes to be light and fresh against the more formal color palette of the palace ‘prison’ and the more subdued palettes of the other royals,” she said, adding: “A butterfly caught in a spider’s web if you like.”

Toward the end of Season 4, which is set in the late 1980s as her relationship with Prince Charles is in shambles, Diana adopts a more streamlined, tailored silhouette. “[We] created a more powerful, ‘armored’ look to illustrate her growing realization she would need to fight to survive,” Roberts said.

Even Princess Di’s signature hairstyle — expertly recreated for the series by Sam McKnight, Diana’s personal stylist for seven years until her death in 1997 — and go-to beauty look are reflected in “The Crown.”

“She used blue eyeliner as an armor, applying more, the more she felt vulnerable,” hair and makeup designer Cate Hall told The Post. “We used this strategically to underpin the emotional narrative.”

Costume designer Amy Roberts consulted with David Emanuel, half of the then-husband-and-wife design duo behind Princess Diana’s actual wedding dress, to recreate the look for Netflix.

Roberts and her team recreated a number of looks Princess Diana wore during her 1983 royal tour of Australia with Prince Charles, including this blue ruffled Bruce Oldfield gown for a gala dinner and dance.

And this pink spotted dress by Donald Campbell and matching John Boyd hat.

Roberts and her team recreated the exact blue look Diana wore to meet the Australian Prime Minister.

This blue silk floral dress looks just as lovely on Corrin now as it did on Princess Diana in 1983.

The show even created a perfect replica of the sunny yellow Paul Costelloe frock the Princess of Wales wore to meet with lifeguards at Sydney’s Terrigal Beach during the Australia trip.

Seen toward the end of Season 4, this white gown and beaded bolero jacket is a carbon copy of the Victor Edelstein ensemble Diana actually wore during her trip to New York in 1989.
