Class of 2020 students Jessica Rosberger and Kiara Royer — who began the petition in June after Barr reportedly had protesters forcibly removed in DC for a photo op of President Trump holding a Bible — have updated their supporters by saying, “We write to you in disappointment, as the Alumni Council has yet to come to a decision.”

The women had a Zoom meeting with the board in July, and sent two subsequent letters. They are now wondering if the list and council should be disbanded.

“Their inaction has made us question the authenticity and even the purpose of the Alumni Council,” they wrote on Medium.

The board said in July that it “established a special committee to review the petition.”
